I want to share the inspirations and beauty behind my brand!

For as long as I can remember, I have been infatuated with my Sicilian heritage. My grandfather, Vito Amato, was a true Sicilian, coming from Sicilian immigrants, was one of the funniest old Italian men out there. Every winter growing up, my family and I would fly down to Florida to visit him for a week, and whenever we arrived, he would open the door with a big smile and there was always a joke or sarcastic comment waiting to be said. A joke about me or my sister, and then laughing for the rest of the night. 

LAUGHTER, which is part of the meaning behind Amato, which translates to english, "Beloved", was one of the beautiful aspects of my grandfather. Through growing up and talking to him over the phone, it was always filled with laughter and love for life.

My inherent love for my Sicilian heritage has grown into a deep love and passion that I now carry through my life everyday. 

For years now, I have always thought of doing something with this passion and love for my Sicilian heritage, and allowing everyone to bring aspects of this land to life. My idea was to include parts of the Sicilian culture and lifestyle into daily used products. Bringing the colors, love, and life into use. Another aspect of the brand is love and laughter which is most important to me, and which I carry onward from my grandfather. Everyone enjoys laughter, and we need it to be able to live happily!
